江南有丹橘，
經冬猶綠林。
豈伊地氣暖，
自有歲寒心。
可以薦嘉客，
奈何阻重深。
運命唯所遇，
循環不可尋。
徒言樹桃李，
此木豈無陰。

<Translation>
The tangerine grows south of the River,
Its leaves remain green in winter.
Is it because the soil threr stays warm?
The tree itself endures cold rather.
Its fruit worthy of honoured guests,
Obstacles its presentation deter.
No law can be found in the revolving
Fate that's wholly a chance matter.
All go in for planting peaches and plums,
Doesn't this tree give a shade better?
